entry #4: quick birthday blog

Dear Diary...

Yep that's right, it's my birthday! Usually I don't look forward to my birthday but all my friends and family made me feel so special! I got so many messages from the people in my life, I feel so loved and spoiled. My mom took me out for a good sushi lunch, and later this week I will be going out with some friends for dinner and to an arcade!

I wanted to show off some of the gifts I got, but first I also wanted to give a quick update on some other things:

Alright, quick updates done, on to presents!

Love my mom, she got me so much. Along with some money ($200! :O) the first thing was a bunch of new make-up! I've never worn make-up before, but she recently taught me a simple routine and got me my own little starter set of make-up, including rose setting spray, eyeliner, and mascara. I might make another blog post eventually showing off all the make-up I own and my routine so people can copy me if they want.

The next thing she got me was this super comfy tank top. It has a built in bra and the fabric is so soft. I've been wearing it all day, I may never take it off. I think I'm gonna need to go back to the store and buy like 20 more.

And lastly, the best gift: a little Christmas house!

I decided I wanted to make my own little miniature Christmas village. My aunt has one she puts up every year and it's so cute with all the little houses and lights and fake snow. I already thrifted a few little houses and got some fake snow, but for my birthday I asked everyone for something to build my village up! So my mom got me a little Christmas shop, as well as a little Christmas tree and some mini street lights! They're so cute and will be great pieces to build the village and fill in all the space between. Below is a picture of the little shop, I love it so much! When we get it all set up for real, I'll probably make another blog post showing it off.

Anyway, I had a pretty good birthday with even more to look forward to! Thanks for reading this post, I have a lot more planned!

Love,

Claire
